Rifles of the White Death

Postby rjmt » Mon Dec 12, 2016 12:31 pm

just got a signed copy of Doug Bowser's book" Rifles of the White Death".
some guy in Oregon had it posted on ebay, or his family sold it off.

have some reading to do now, hopefully will answer the questions I have about this Finn M28 barreled action I recently acquired.

on quick review of known serial numbers imported into the US, there are only 6 older than mine - and my serial number is not listed. My rifle was among the first 5000 produced. It originally had a "Ski Trouper" stock.

still makes me wonder where this barreled action has been hiding for all these years

just waiting for the barrel band screws from the machinist to finish this Finn M28 project.
