That is an interesting mount, it does seem a bit high to me though. I understand that it is that way so he could use the stock sites but I wonder how much vibration that mount creates. Also it seems like if he had done the stock correctly he shouldn't of had to cut the side out, it would have slipped into the stock and it would have looked much better.

It is an interesting approach, but the steel does look bit thin. Not the thing to do to a Finn if you want to maintain it's value for resale though.

If he followed the original sniper mount hole template, you could throw on a PU mount and repro it to a sniper model.
