It's always sad at all the untold human costs of war. I found it interesting that the Finns were using German helmets and equipment, the Russians signed a treaty with the Germans then attacked the Finns who were supplied by the Germans.
I've never understood the desire to throw wave after wave of your men at a position that is so well intrenched, It's such a waste. The one thing that PBS did not go into detail about was the Finnish Snipers were taking a huge toll on the Russians.
