I've got to find out where he got those graphics for the maps etc. Great job.

Pretty cool video...

After watching it, there were several things 'different' about the range and how he shot the rifle (high berms, no impact area, funky flags, railroad ties sectioning the target point, and of course his total lac of support when firing). I thought, this feels like England... and sure enough this gentleman is from the U.K.

Looks like he's shooting 5 inch targets. very good job with open sights. His main problem is he's fighting the gun being left handed. Wish the machine work to make a Mosin receiver wasn't so complicated. I'd be making Lefties

That is neat the way they flagged each shot with computer graphics. I have been wanting to do a PinP video like that, but have not decided which GoPro Hero I will get yet. The new Black edition can capture up to 240frames per second, and would make some awesome slo-mo's..but is $400 (ouch)

Yeah I was actually interested in the production value, it's very cool watch the lower third, every time he takes a shot the bullet in the lower 3rd turns into an empty case and when it's ejected it removed from the window. I also like the shot highlighting in the pip window. Yeah us leftys have a hard time with right handed rifles. BUT we deal with it.

The main issue I've seen with some high frame rate cameras is the video size seems to get smaller as the video gets faster.

Glad you guys liked it, I might see if he has any others

I can get USB cables like 25 ft long with a little amplifier built in line. Maybe you could solder up a 300 foot USB cable and put your computer camera up at the target board

Can you find a WIFI transmitter you can plug into YOUR camera. Put it up by the target board and your laptop already has a receiver in it or I should say mine does. I've been working on ideas that would be cheaper then commercially built jobs using thing you all ready have like your laptop and camera.

The GoPro Hero3 has WiFi built in, but the range is only 600'. If it is a true WiFi Network adapter, you could be able to use an Access point to bridge the gap, but that means AC Power.

The 240 frame rate is still at WVGA (800x480) resolution, 120fps at 720p, and 60fps at 1080p.

Best frame rates I have seen on the market unless you go true high speed cameras, which are big bucks.

Shep I wish you could make a lefty gun too. It would totally rock!!

Merauder they affects for his video are done mostly in afterafects. It's most likely a plugin. I have seen some friends at school doing stuff like it before
