after reading the rules to the forum... not for me,

  Like a little boys' club - keep making up rules until nobody can join. Oh well, I'm like an old farm dog anyway. Can only stand to be "inside" for a short while, then I've got to get outside! ;)
GOOD RIDDANCE LGR!! If there isn't a gun range in heaven, then I'm going to hell.

Thier site is called 7.62x54r... yet they only discuss Mosins, but there are rules on what you can talk about....
I think I should create a site called 9mm where limited conversations pertaining to Luger P.08's can be discussed. Or perhaps 7.62x39 where we only talk about SKS's. Sounds like Putin runs that board. No thank you I will stick to SOCAMO and COAR-15.

This is an extremely old thread. A lot of the rules have changed on there since then. Not nearly that bad anymore. I have had no problem showing my modded mosins there. Granted they still praise unmodified ones much more highly. They beautiful just as they are anyway.

I was a member for over a year, until I built my PEM sniper
got "banned for life" because I dared modify my '31 HEX
they had good info for Mosin newbies, but for those like myself who wanted or needed to fix sick Mosins, or accurize one for range work, I found the forum lacking. In essence I was told to just hang my sick '32 Hex on the wall and admire it, not attempt to fix it, because that was how it came from Mother Russia.

I still read the forum, but for a Mosin shooter like myself, not just a collector, I prefer Socal Mosin.
