Hello been looking for a Mosin site since I left the Russian Mosin Nagant site. Actually I was asked to leave. My name is Jack and have been into cars for a long time, of course Mopars. Bought a 91/30 last year to share with my grandson who is totally into the old war weapons. I'm 65 been retired for 10 years from the oil industry and live in the town of Rodeo about 25 miles from San Francisco.

"It's Mopar ; or No car"....Grew up in a real live old fashioned service station in the sixties . Have had Darts , Cudas , and a 68 Charger . Drive Chryslers now ; but I miss my Hemi's every day .

This is a really good M-N site with tons of solid information , and really helpful people . And we don't think "Moddin", (modifying) is a dirty word here either .

Thanks for the welcome. That other site had board snitches that threw up red flags if you mentioned any thing that may violate their rules. Asked a simple question about filing the rear sight to make the rifle more accurate at 100 yards. My range has safety issues if you are over the paper and Mosins are very high at 100. would only require .030 inch adjustment but that considered permanent damage even though the armories filed on the front sights and numerous other spots to make adjustments.

Welcome to the Forum Mopar Jack, always glad to have a car and gun guy. I had a 69 Roadrunner when I was younger.. Man do I ever regret selling that car.
